The Catholic Church nor any other church is Christ gatekeeper sorry....the Catholic church is indeed the gatekeeper...Christ said so, I didn't....remember the keys to the kingdom, and the bind and loose thing, and the whose sins you shall forgive part, and the take and eat of this, "THIS IS MY BODY" story....yup, the Catholic church is the place to be!!

sorry....the Catholic church is indeed the gatekeeper...Christ said so, I didn't.... Jesus said that HE was the way, the truth, and the life and that no man comes to the Father but through HIM.
You don't have to get to the gate through a gatekeeper. Jesus never taught that.

Sorry, but NO, Jesus never said the Catholic church is His gatekeeper just that HE is the door/gate/way/truth/life. But JFG, which "Catholic" church did you mean, the one BEFORE Vatican II (of which you stated: "was about as much nonsense as I can stand for a while") or the one after? Should "nonsense" purveyors be gatekeepers at all?
