My first question would be: How come so many boys are coming out as gay? Is there something in the water? or the air? Or on The Air that is causing them not to think straight?

"Is there something in the water?"

As a matter of fact, they find significant amounts of Estrogen in most municipal water supplies after treatment and on the way to your tap. There are a couple of other things also commonly found in the water supply that depress the creation of testosterone but I don't have a bookmark to the articles I've read about them.

This all has a huge impact on kids going through puberty, male and female. It throws normal development out of whack at least a bit in everyone and a whole lot in a significant percentage of kids. CA and one other State, I forget which, also have surprisingly large amounts of the most common antidepressants in their treated water. Sounds like a mix that would equal what Robin Williams called, Ph**kItDol.

The water filters you can put on you tap seem to be good at removing this stuff but possibly not all of them. A filter on your tap seems like it's definitely worth looking into while at one time I thought it was basically all marketing. We had our own well until we moved down the road a few years ago so it wasn't a concern to us.

Now I recommend such a filter at least if you have young kids and grand kids around. Even without kids around, it seems to me this sort of stuff could react with things like high blood pressure medicine. My mother in law was diabetic and given the things her doctor avoided prescribing for her, it seems to me such things could make insulin absorption erratic although maybe they're not the sort of hormone that impacts insulin absorption.

It's a serious enough problem that the media has geared up to insist that it's not due to contraceptive use but due to something horrible like not being vegetarian or not being Muzzie, I forget which.

While it's not pervasive like the municipal water supplies, I've heard both positive and negative things about Soy Milk tinkering with Estrogen levels. Good things about it reducing estrogen in older men, bad things about it mimicking Estrogen in kids. That's worth checking out, too, if you have kids and grand kids and use soy milk. Whether all sorts of soy have the same effect, I don't know.

All in all, this country is doing a damn fine job of making major changes to human hormone systems that are by nature balanced on a razors edge without caring what the results may be. One result may well be an increase in the number of young men feminized and/or inclined towards homosexual behavior. I guess we'll know that's absolutely the case if the powers that be start substituting Soy Milk for cow's milk in school lunch programs.

Questions are being asked about estrogen-contaminated water, which affects every major watershed in North America, due to birth control pills. Male fish and amphibians are noted with extremely low sperm counts and/or high %age egg proteins in their testes.

Soy milk, which is high in phytoestrogens, has been linked to abnormal sexual development in male monkeys, and possibly in humans. Pregnant women should not eat soy. Mothers should not give their babies soy-based formula. Yet over 25% of baby formula in the USA is made from soy.
