Back to the timing issue, it’s kind of like a frog in cold water and your gradually turn up the heat.
The mainstream PC has been chopping away at the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture for longer than you and I have been alive.
They gutted the WCG and put all sorts of liberal “confessions” out there that that were equal to the WCF. This is the chickens coming home to roost.
