As I said, I’m not here to defend other people’s comments, but if you want my opinion, it’s a pretty far stretch if you are trying to use the OT prophecy about Immanuel to justify calling Mary the “Mother of God”.
It seems to me you are denying Mary is the mother of Immanuel. Just to clarify, do you confess that Mary the mother of Immanuel ?
