Of Glory, Honor, Worship and Praise!
Keep Us, Lord, From raising up idols,
In Government, Entertainment, or Religion.
Let us Always remember, There is Only One King.
Only One Everlasting and Almighty God!

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

This Portion of the Story of Ruth outlines the legal ceremony which was necessary in order for Boaz to become her "Kinsman Redeemer". It also shows the obligations that the "first in line" was not willing to embrace in order to obtain the property.

What is also very interesting is the mention of Tamar and Judah. In what seems like a parenthetical story right smack in the middle of Joseph's Saga in Genesis, the story of Tamar and Judah is weird and unsettling. Tamar deceives her Father-In-Law (Judah) into getting her pregnant, but this deception was in response to Judah refusing to fulfill his family obligation to HER. Now, in the eyes of their descendents, this somewhat shameful bit of history has ALSO been "Redeemed".
