these people are so disingenous and dissembling, if those are the right words.

I heard somebody from this organzation on one of the talk shows. He said that he’s in favor of everyone exercising religious freedom, but that his organization is concerned about separation of church and state, as relates to government endorsement or recognition of religion.

If that’s true, then, why in the sam hill do they take issue with colleges, which are not “the government”, having chaplains???? Do these people make any sense at all???

I’m guessing they’ll say any university that takes money from the state and/or federal government can’t have a chaplain because that would be the state establishing a religion.
