Not a very supportive statement of Church teaching, but not heresy, since O’Malley didn’t found the Church, thank goodness.

This posts confuses me.

Cardinal O’Malley is called a heretic. I ask for evidence. I was sent a link to an article where O’Malley said if he had founded the Church, he would have provided for female priests. My response states Cardinal O’Malley’s statement is not supportive of or helpful to Catholic teaching, but it is not heretical, since he is not calling for women’s ordination, just saying if he were Jesus, he wouldn’t have done what Jesus did.
