He is a Catholic, and as far as Catholic politicians go, a very good one, he isn’t even a democrat.
You should be pleased with him, not attacking his faith.
In the bible tax collectors and prostitutes get many positive things said about them. Not true of a Sodomite ever.
Rubio does not live his faith. Probably out of ignorance.
All the evils of the world are due to lukewarm Catholics.
~ Pope Pius V
You can’t know that. You may not want to credit Rubio for what he deserves credit for - but when you do that - you make your criticisms totally irrelevant. Reality goes both ways.
And oh, by the way, my Rubio to Cruz,Lee, Rand analogy? Is very well excepted in my speeches and media interviews.....just sayin....you’re the only one who has ever poo pooed it.
Oh well. Wrong again. Honestly I am right fifty percent of the time.
Sure, I know that.
Texas, Sarah Palin, and the tea party, made Ted Cruz a Senator, not Marco Rubio.
You often seem to have a white hot hatred for most Catholics (except for the pro-abortion John Kennedy), evidently even Rubio.
As a Catholic and a politician, he seems to be among the most faithful and true.
Unless you’ve converted you’re not a Catholic so don’t bother me with what you think about Catholics. Could care less what your opinions are. Totally irrelevant to the topic of this thread.
Actually it is very relevant to this thread and your attacks on Rubio’s Catholic faith, to put it in perspective, you often seem to disapprove of the majority of Catholics and mock their faith, except of course, JFK.
I would say that Rubio is a much better Catholic than the pro-abortion Kennedys.
He sure in the hell will not get my vote for anything.
You mean these gay marriages result in chaste partnerships?
"And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life." - Jesus
I wouldn’t even describe him as a lukewarm Catholic:
Personal life
Rubio married Jeanette Dousdebes, a former bank teller and Miami Dolphins cheerleader, in 1998, and together they have four children. Rubio and his family live in West Miami, Florida.
Rubio attends Christ Fellowship, a Southern Baptist Church in West Kendall, Florida, as well as Catholic services.
After leaving the Florida House of Representatives due to term limits in January 2009, Rubio started his own law firm. In February, he declared himself a candidate for U.S. Senate in the 2010 election cycle.
In an interview in 2012, Rubio said: “I’m a Roman Catholic. I’m theologically in line with the Roman Catholic Church. I believe in the authority of the church, but I also have tremendous respect for my brothers and sisters in other Christian faiths. I recognize, as the Catholic Church does, that there are excellent teachings of the Word throughout other denominations. The elements of salvation are found in these churches as well.”

Catholics are permitted to attend, but not actively participate in a non-Catholic wedding.
I’d be hard-pressed to call him Catholic.
I don’t get it.
?
I’m sorry that I didn’t make myself clear. I wasn’t referring to what you said, but to Rubio’s belief that he is a Catholic. “I don’t get” why he would think that he is a Catholic.
My apologies for misinterpreting! I thought you brought that info into the discussion to show that he is.
