“but that angels are outside the constraints of space but inside the constraints of time: they can instantaneously be wherever God needs them to be, but while they can see the future, they cannot be in the future until the future becomes the present.”
I don’t think this is right, because when you read of prophets who were given visions of the future, they are often “transported”, with an angel, to the time and place they are witnessing. They aren’t just passively seeing images of the future either, as we have examples of prophets interacting with people, asking questions, and being given answers, being given objects and being instructed to do things with them, etc. So if the angels have the ability to transport humans to the future and back, it only stands to reason that the angels must have this ability themselves, though they may only be able to use it as God authorizes them to.
I think children who go to heaven, will grow until they are 33.
I read, and I think it is in Revelation, that we will be given a new name in heaven. Also, in Revelation, there is a description of heaven and the Tree Of Life is there between two streams of life giving water, and the tree, every month, has different leaves on it that prevent/cure disease. I need to reread those passages, but I think it is that water and those leaves that will give us eternal life.
I know scripture says we will be raised/or if alive, changed, to have incorruptible bodies, but there has to be a reason for the rivers of life and the leaves of that tree in heaven.
I have said I need to discuss with God, the mistakes he made in our bodies. :o) He should have installed a zipper down our bodies so it would be easy to unzip and replace faulty parts. I also think he put plants on this earth to repair our bodies, stop diseases, but he screwed up and didn't give us instructions on which plant did what. :o)
Jesus said there are many mansions in heaven, and I think we get certain houses according to our good works on earth. I hope to get at least a duplex to live in, but I may only qualify for a tent. I won't complain whatever it is. :o)
Good point; I'll have to think about how to revise the theory, or perhaps dump it completely :-) thank you!
An elder in my church said that he was praying on this and had/received the thought “Remember yourself young and strong.” And got the image of a deceased lady in our congregation who died crippled and with replacement knees to suddenly being transform into a beautiful young woman and go dancing up into heaven.
I figure that God wants us whole, with original parts/limbs, and no longer crippled with age and infirmities. And for those who want to know where in the Bible it says that, I don’t know if it does, I figure a merciful God would want us to be at our best in his presence.
I dont really care what my reserected body will be like (although I am sure it will be great), but I would like to know what you do for eternity in heaven.
I have a hard time seeing TV being available in heaven or cell phones, or computers, or video games, political discussion boards, or frankly anything I currently enjoy doing.
To put it in plain old English, our bodies will be exactly like Christ’s glorified body that first Easter Morning when He walked out of that tomb outside Jerusalem.
As for their health, I take the example from Jesus: when He rose and appeared to His Apostles and Disciples, He showed them His Hands and Feet; He had Thomas put his fingers on His Side. He did not mention the Holy Wounds inflicted upon His Head when crowned with thorns, nor His Body, wracked by the Scourging and the Roman soldiers beating Him. Just those Five, which identified Him.. . Just a thought.
Like, why do we have an appendix? All it does is get infected and have to come out before it bursts...
I'd also like to know why He made most bugs so darned ugly! :0)
I think it was Gallagher who said, “If you bought your body at Sears, you’d return it.”
Good one! : )
Like Jesus’.
Next question.
Our bodies can never age in heaven because aging is a result of man’s fall (death).
...but they’ll still be my parents, and they’ll be well and strong, and best of all, I’ll still be their child- and never lose them again...

Such a lovely thought. You brought tears to my eyes.
Pure as children but as for body, won’t matter. Jesus still has His scars, so that has to be taken into consideration.
They might pray for their loved ones on earth.
**At a bare minimum I HOPE all my bones will be whole and the steel plates, screws and pins will be gone.**
I second that one — artificial hip and screws in the other knee from a broken knee cap.
**Second, I once speculated, in a talk I gave a few years ago, that God is outside of the constraints of space and timewhich we know is true,**
True.
My appendix did rupture. I thought I had the flu since all my kids had been sick with the flu. When I went to the doctor, he touched my abdomen and said a simple phrase.....”To the hospital.”
I had just taken my girls somewhere and said that I had to pick them up.
He just laughed at me and said that someone else would pick them up — as I headed out on a stretcher to the waiting ambulance.
I’d love to be in my early thirties again.
