Obviously it would be God. I just merely pondered the implications of what Jesus said after his resurrection along with what satan tried to tempt him with during the forty days. Satan offered him the world’s kingdoms, etc. and Jesus did not dispute his ability to make the offer. It would not have been a temptation. Other than that, I’m not one who believes I can probe the mysteries of God. I do know that before Jesus made his appearance, the whole world was a hell hole.
We are in the same boat reading the Bible to see what G-d has to teach and tell.
Christ and the Disciples taught from the Tanakh so we know the Disciples knowledge came from there. Isaiah is, in some circles, talked about as the 5th Gospel.
I am comfortable, since G-d commands it :-), to not know every thing I ponder, but sometimes... :-)
