As a Jew, I utterly condemn the leadership of the Catholic Church for this and related actions - they have clearly rejected G-d’s word.
Less “exalted” Catholics, OTOH, do not bear the slightest blame for this denial of G-d and His word by those who have captured political power and presume to speak for them. Normal, ordinary, decent people - of whatever faith - benefit from G-d’s favor, often in spite of what others do or say in their name.
Somehow, I don’t think that Jesus would have been so keen to have given up the Holy Land.

Traditionalist Catholics seem to regard the villainy of the Jewish People as almost a dogma. Every traditionalist Catholic web site claims the world situation is because of a "Judaeo-Masonic conspiracy," that the "Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion" are the real deal, and even that Jews once (if no longer) killed chrstian children and used their blood to make mattzah.
It's crazy. Not long ago I read a page on Tradition in Action (a traditionalist Catholic web page) that explained with an absolutely straight face that the Jews ran Freemasonry and the whole "revolution" and that quoted the Protocols as absolutely true and authoritative.
And btw, the Catholic "hero" "St." Maximilian Kolbe believed all this stuff as well.
Meanwhile, left wing hippie "liberation theology" Catholics are anti-Israel because they (the hippie Catholics, not Israel) are Commies.
