Grinding miserable poverty is beyond terrible. Yet the Pope needs to understand that productive capitalism is the one proven mechanism that produces the wealth that alleviates the misery. Socialism, redistribution schemes and even personal charity do not alleviate poverty long term. It is the production of real wealth that correlates best with the establishment of social justice.

It may surprise you to learn that in many developing countries poverty is the greatest evil. So far they have resisted the corruption by certain elite groups that keep clamoring for gay rights and abortion to be allowed in those nations. So yes world wide poverty is more of a concern.

Individuals need to turn to Jesus. Large institutions and governments must be broken down. Subsidiarity over collectivism.

Francis has been openly collaborating with the UN on pushing the hoax of global warming. The UN, and the US, are both pushing abortion and artificial contraception as means of stopping the “warming”; the Vatican deliberately ignores this.
