BREAKING: Pope takes major step toward formal heresy

"I feel like saying something that may sound controversial or even heretical. But there is someone who knows that despite our differences we are one. It is he who is persecuting us. It is he that is persecuting Christians today; he who is anointing us with the blood of martyrdom, knows that Christians are disciples of Christ. That we are one, that we are brothers! He doesn't care if they are Evangelicals, Orthodox, Lutherans, Catholics or Apostolic. He doesn't care! They are Christians."

There once was a Mormon named Jack For being lazy, he had quite a knack He had a bad trait He made everyone wait And never cut anyone some slack

One of my MOST fervent prayers is that immaturity is not contagious.

sounds like the frustration that Catholics feel when confronted with the strange and erroneous teachings of the hundreds of protestant denominations, all of whom consider themselves correct.......

I know how you feel. I get frustrated when confronted with strange and erroneous teachings too, so don't feel like the Lone Ranger. I will pray for you TC, so you can KNOW positively, that you are going to Heaven. I don't want to have to drop down out of Heaven, to pull your tail out of purgatory, 🔥 but I will pull you out if I have to. In a little while, I am meeting Pastor Bernardo, we have some people to preach to. 🇵🇭 Hang in there bro.

Because that's what the Mormon is saying....

Wow check out the interdimensional mind reading skills on you.

Here's something you really need to pay attention to...

Here's an exert: "That is, someone's subjective judgments are "projected" to be inherent properties of an object, rather than being related to personal perception."

In other words, NO, that's not the Mormon is saying at all, because...well...he never said it..but that's what you wanted him to say....badly.

This is typical of cults to redefine words to not mean what they mean.

Notice the blatant red herring.

A red herring is defined as:

Logical Form:
Argument A is presented by person 1.
Person 2 introduces argument B.
Argument A is abandoned.

Bless your heart, in case you want to try again, I'll post what you avoided below: (Nobody likes a quitter)

1 John 4
9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Heb 11
17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

If you could just twist that pretzel a liiiiittttle bit more you'd have those dog gone Mormons right where you want them...

But before we go on, there's that little problem of how the writers of the books in the Bible use the word "begotten" and "begat".

Genesis 5:
4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:

Philemon 1
10 I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

The list of the usage of Begat and Begotten is quite long so I'll narrow it down to four for the sake of brevity.

Please explain how John's usage of "begotten" is different than everyone else's use of the word "begotten".

P.S. I am neither nasty nor mean. I realize you probably didn't think your low brow anti-Mormon BS would get you boxed in like this. If it's too much for you to handle, you may request mercy and I'll let it go. You'll then be free to move on to other low brow anti-Mormon or anti-Catholic BS.

One of my MOST fervent prayers is that immaturity is not contagious.

Mine too. Projecting again are you? There once was a RC named TC...... You keep sounding off, and I might not put in a good word with St Peter for you. In fact, I am leaning toward not doing it. Your loss, because I have a juice card with St Pete. I thought I heard someone say once, that the Holy Spirit agreed with him 100% of the time. I don't remember who said that, but I CAN tell you that St Peter listens to me 100% of the time, so you need to walk the straight and narrow. Ok, I gotta go and do some preaching now, to people who belong to a certain religion. Meanwhile, I will pray for you. I can see your are in great need of it. 🔥🙀😱

Catholics and Mormons should be happy with each other....both appeal to a tradition not supported by the Word or early Christianity.

From a "Johnny come lately" prot, that statement is hilarious.....

The Mormons and JWs, are intending to bring me a false gospel, and you know what Paul said about that. 😇😀😊 Let them be........well, you know.

I think that they fall right in line with the navigators....false is false.

If you care to check it, and I have a feeling you won't, the Navigators consider the LDS, INC, and JWs to be worse than the RCC. They always tell the truth, that's why I love them. I hope you have a nice eternity. I know I will. 😇

They did become Christian......but not roman catholic as they didn’t rely upon Mary for their salvation.

Of course they became Roman Catholic...there was no one else around....the Roman Catholic church is the very basis of western civilization..the churches, libraries, universities, governments, everything was Roman Catholic....did they ever err...of course, but by and large modern civilization is the direct result of Roman Catholic influence.......and Catholics don't rely on Mary for their salvation....

Sorry junior....you need to explain the mormon definition of this first.

My experience with cults such as mormonism is they redefine words to mean what they want them to.

You denied there was a physical relationship between God and Mary even though lds leaders have said there was. If I remember correctly you claimed no lds leader ever said that in post #878......

>>physical relationship between God the Father and Mary<<

BTW, this has never been said by any LDS leader. Go ahead and quote it and I'll expose your presumptive leap and then I'll redirect you back to James 2.

.....to which I replied:

This matter was a little changed in the case of the Savior of the world, the Son of the living God. The man Joseph, the husband of Mary, did not, that we know of, have more than one wife, but Mary the wife of Joseph had another husband. On this account infidels have called the Savior a bastard. This is merely a human opinion upon one of the inscrutable doings of the Almighty. That very babe that was cradled in the manger, was begotten, not by Joseph, the husband of Mary, but by another Being. Do you inquire by whom? He was begotten by God our heavenly Father. This answer may suffice you—you need never inquire more upon that point. Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father, and he is the Savior of the world, and full of grace and truth. It is not polygamy that men fight against when they persecute this people; but, still, if we continue to be faithful to our God, he will defend us in doing what is right. If it is wrong for a man to have more than one wife at a time, the Lord will reveal it by and by, and he will put it away that it will not be known in the Church. I did not ask Him for the revelation upon this subject. When that revelation was first read to me by Joseph Smith, I plainly saw the great trials and the abuse of it that would be made by many of the Elders, and the trouble and the persecution that it would bring upon this whole people. But the Lord revealed it, and it was my business to accept it. http://journalofdiscourses.com/11/41

.....to which you did not reply to.

Below again I have given you a quote from a lds leader on this same topic on how Jesus was created from the Mormon perspective....and it's not the first time nor is it the only quote I've provided that you've ignored.

You need to explain what this means from a Mormon perspective as cultists like to redefine words.

Well, now for the benefit of the older ones, how are children begotten? I answer just as Jesus Christ was begotten of his father ... Prophet Joseph F. Smith, Family Home Evening Manual, 1972, pp.125,126

Christianity teaches Jesus has always existed. He was not created as in the false teachings of Mormonism as exhibited above nor is Lucifer His brother as Mormons claim.

When mormon leaders say these things....what do they mean?

The clear meaning of their words, or some mormon redefining of how children come into the world?

My bet is that you either cannot or will not answer the question....which is common for cultists.

.......and Catholics don't rely on Mary for their salvation....

Beware, chosen soul, of thinking that it is more perfect to direct your work and intention straight to Jesus or straight to God. Without Mary, your work and your intention will be of little value. But if you go to God through Mary, your work will become Mary's work, and consequently will be most noble and most worthy of God. - THE SECRET OF MARY, St. Louis de Montfort; http://www.ewtn.com/library/Montfort/SECRET.HTM

"The union between the Immaculata and the Holy Spirit is so inexpressible, yet so perfect, that the Holy Spirit acts only by the Most Blessed Virgin, his Spouse. This is why she is the mediatrix of all graces given by the Holy Spirit. And since every grace is a gift of God the Father through the Son and by the Holy Spirit, it follows that there is no grace which Mary cannot dispose of as her own, which is not given to her for this purpose." — Manteau-Bonamy, Immaculate Conception, 91; F.X. Durrwell, The Holy Spirit of God (Cincinnati: Servant Books, 2006), 183-185.

It gets so tiresome having to correct your false understandings of your own faith over and over and over again.

Reformation comes from within....revolution destroys the original and goes off on their own tangent.....are we, as Americans, "reformed" subjects of the queen????

Why are they telling the world that they, the catholic church, are ready and willing to baptize Aliens, off-planet aliens? And why are the Jesuit astronmers in Arizona not informing the world of the too numerous UFOs which hinder their telescopic observations on some occasions?

I assume that the non-Earthling aliens will form their own protestant denomination....everybody else did, but of course Catholics would be willing to baptize them...are they intelligent creatures created by God or not??

Good grief, where did that conversation come from????
