Like I said, misplaced compassion excuses the deliberate sinner or apostate who has no excuse. God will judge, but we can and should make an evaluation of the works on the basis of which God judges, and denounce them.

You can and must judge the behavior. You cannot and must not judge the person, gaveling them clean out of the range of human compassion.
