And “loose” means something like “my bolts are loose, I’d better tighten them at the gas station.” “Lose” would be the correct word here.

Yeah. “LOOSE”. He can’t spell worth a flip either. I’m sure he meant “LOSE”, if he ever knew the difference, that is. He doesn’t seem to know shoo-shoo from shinola!
