Thank you for this post. Another scripture that came to mind was Hosea 8:7,

For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.

God will not be mocked and no man can change the natural laws of God.

I keep thinking of Philippians 3:18-19

“For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.”

These folks are glorying in their shame and their end is sure destruction.
