Hallelujah! A blessing to read, including the seemingly off-topic illustrations were a jolt. The state of California?! I was very surprised to see that there since I don’t think the text mentioned it. Definitely a spiritually poor place, like every other. But as Jesus told the church of Laodicea, they were poor but thought they were rich. That’s a most sad but all-too-real possibility for human beings.
