So you were not a member of the Catholic Church?

I was. I even thought about becoming a priest. I went to a seminary in high school. There were drugs, and homosexuality right in front of me. I was appalled. The priest who brought me there died of AIDS a few years later.

I remained a Catholic, and I was the "best" Catholic of my entire family.

When I was in the military as an Air Force pilot, I was introduced to another pilot who loved Christ. He told me the truth about Jesus. I began to read the Bible. I listened to broadcasts on Christian radio.

The decision to give my life over to Jesus was the hardest I ever had to make. I did not want my life to change! I didn't want to become a person who had to adhere to the standards of God. I did not want my sin to have be acknowleged and repented from.
