well, let's see: there were originally 12 disciples in the Upper; one left to betray Jesus; then after the Crucifixion, resurrection and ascension, and during the wait for Pentecost, Peter had the eleven Apostles draw straw or cast lots to see which of two who fit the definition of Apostles God would choose; the lot fell on Matthias, so he became the twelfth according to Peter's council; then God added Saul of Tarsus on the road to Ammaeus. Looks like there were thirteen of fourteen, if you count Judas Iscariot. Those all fit the definition Peter gave during the choosing council prior to Pentecost. Are there any others?

Are there any others?I keep waiting for the scripture that tells us Jesus told the apostles they could pass on their authority or the gifts given to build the Church of Jesus Christ
