In any case, that wasn’t directed to the one who replied with the insult. Besides being a general comment about these incited Catholic/Protestant exchanges on Free Republic, it was made in a conversation with an entirely different person.
So...to speak to your point...It WAS not in response. That person hadn’t been addressed at all in that post.
