[1] And I saw that the Lamb had opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures, as it were the voice of thunder, saying: Come, and see. [2] And I saw: and behold a white horse, and he that sat on him had a bow, and there was a crown given him, and he went forth conquering that he might conquer.
[3] And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature, saying: Come, and see. [4] And there went out another horse that was red: and to him that sat thereon, it was given that he should take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another, and a great sword was given to him.
[5] And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying: Come, and see. And behold a black horse, and he that sat on him had a pair of scales in his hand. [6] And I heard as it were a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying: Two pounds of wheat for a penny, and thrice two pounds of barley for a penny, and see thou hurt not the wine and the oil.
[7] And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature, saying: Come, and see. [8] And behold a pale horse, and he that sat upon him, his name was Death, and hell followed him. And power was given to him over the four parts of the earth, to kill with sword, with famine, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
[9] And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held. [10] And they cried with a loud voice, saying: How long, O Lord (holy and true) dost thou not judge and revenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? [11] And white robes were given to every one of them one; and it was said to them, that they should rest for a little time, till their fellow servants, and their brethren, who are to be slain, even as they, should be filled up.
[12] And I saw, when he had opened the sixth seal, and behold there was a great earthquake, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair: and the whole moon became as blood: [13] And the stars from heaven fell upon the earth, as the fig tree casteth its green figs when it is shaken by a great wind: [14] And the heaven departed as a book folded up: and every mountain, and the islands were moved out of their places. [15] And the kings of the earth, and the princes, and tribunes, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman, and every freeman, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of mountains:
[16] And they say to the mountains and the rocks: Fall upon us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth upon the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb: [17] For the great day of their wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand?

Man has a free will...
You have it exactly backwards.
God did not ‘allow it’.
He is just giving the people exactly what they are asking for!
Think about what the folks in the US have VOTED for - He will give us that in spades.

And tell Epictetus that God permits such evil for one reason and one reason alone—to draw a greater good from it. Good Friday leads to Easter Sunday. The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church.
Don’t focus only on the horror, but on the glorious victory that girl won over it.

One could say why did God allow Obama to be President...his decisions have cost people their life...or what causes a child’s own mother to take his life...or why did Hitler murder the Jews...and why has this nation murdered more unborn babies in numbers that surpass the Holocaust?
Better said is what will God bring out of these atrocities...which he is faithful to do.
We do live in a fallen world, a world that is under the influence of evil...but with the freedom to choose between being evil or striving for good. Some will choose evil or fall under it’s control as Islam has done and teaches.
Free will. Nasty evil people have free will to harm others in unspeakable ways. When the Lord God gave us free will, he knew that many people would abuse that and perform acts of evil. God doesn’t cause it. God could prevent it, but then what good is free will if God takes it away from you at every turn?
This is earth. This is the lousy, messy, painful, sorrowful, torturous place called earth. Your Utopia awaits in Heaven. It isn’t here.
There is only one God and the killers are worshiping a demonic spirit they call allah.
God will take care of these devils in one way and he’ll take care of the His martyrs in another way. Life - each human’s spirit - is eternal and will live on after our flesh dies. Life on earth is like a blink of the eye. When we die, some will live on in the glory of God and others will be living in hell.
He gave man free will so we would not be like His farm animals. He made us as higher beings. Some human beings live to be good and some live to be evil. Our choice.
Why God permits evil can be a struggle for believer and non-believer alike. But one assumption at the heart of this is that it’s better to stay on this earth. Paul said it would be better for him to go to The Lord but the new Church needed him. I’m not saying a belief in the afterlife answers all our questions as to why God permits the innocents to be taken seemingly before their time. But they’re infinitely happier in the Vision of God. If we can make it to Heaven, will we think?: “Why did I want to stay on that miserable earth?” And the misery on earth is probably only going to get much worse from here on out.
