I wouldn’t think you could be a spiritual leader and a political/environmental activist at the same time. The typical socialist doesn’t even believe there is a spiritual side to human nature.
It seems out of place to me, for a pope to be talking about global warming. It just strains believability to me, that there is a theology about this subject.
