Christians assemble on “the Lord’s Day”, not the Sabbath. This is one of the differences between the old covenant and the new. It’s called the Lord’s Day because that was the day Jesus was raised from the dead - the first day of the week, which we call Sunday.

That's the tradition all right....but not what christ in the bible says to do.

I wonder why the apostles started that practice then? Do you think perhaps they just made it up? Maybe they were "teaching as their doctrines the precepts of men"?

If we were under the law...We are not under the law...

God doesn't care what day we worship (attend church)...He'd rather we worship every day...
