When the Rapture of the Church finally takes place - in which Almighty God the Son calls out His body (saints and ambassadors) - it (The Rapture) will be a wondrous sign unto the apostate western world more so than a sign unto the whole world. For all had better be prepared, for Almighty God's "Day of Wrath" is now at hand (2 Thess. 2:3-12)!
The official commencement of this horrific seven year period will be the breaking of the 1st seal (i.e., the "Confirming of the Covenant" - Dan. 9:27) by Almighty God’s Lamb (i.e., The Lord Jesus Christ) in Heaven (Rev. 6:1). It is at this precise moment that the man of lawlessness (i.e., the anti-Christ) will be revealed unto the entire world (Dan. 9:27, 2 Thess. 2: 3-12). This revealing of the Anti-Christ and the commencement of this seven year tribulation period will begin when this man (i.e., the Prince which is to come) adds his human position of great power and authority to a covenant against Israel with an abundance of peoples and nations (Ezek. 38:8,11-12, Dan. 9: 27).

“The Bible says son of perdition will actually have to be revealed, so no one will know who he is until after we’re gone with Jesus...”
That’s the opposite of what the Bible says:
“1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;”
2 Thess. 2:1-3
We can’t be gathered to Jesus until after the man of sin is revealed, according to those verses (that day shall NOT come, except...). These events are given as a sign that the day has not come yet, because deceivers were telling Christians that Christ already returned and they had missed it. The modern-day rapture deceivers are spinning a different lie, but their deception is similarly revealed because it contradicts the signs given in these verses just the same.
You need to keep reading to fully understanding what is being said...
“And now you know what withholds [the Holy Spirit] that he [the man of sin] might be revealed in HIS time. For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now lets [’prevents’] will let, until he be taken out of the way. And THEN shall that Wicked be revealed...”

You have to parenthetically insert things into the text to force it to say what you want it to say, and in doing so, you create a contradiction with verses that are in the very same chapter.
You don’t see any flaws in that methodology?

I guess we need the Holy Spirit to help us with who “he who restrains” is. I believe it is the Holy Spirit.
We had a fiduciary currency which has been completely destroyed
by quantitative easing. What further technology is needed after the
value of currency is destroyed by state created hyper-inflation?
Would that mark be a "state issued credit/debit card"?
It would certainly make tracking the flow of money easy...

Either way you read it, the man of sin must be revealed before Christ gathers us to him, or Paul contradicts himself, and if Paul contradicts himself, then the book is not inspired and is worthless to us.
Dang man, you don’t want to be around during this seven-year Tribulation.
Right off the bat there’s war, nukes, famine and 1/4 of earth’s population (maybe two to three billion) is killed (Rev 6:1-8).
If you survive that, before you know it flying demons that sting like scorpions will swarm the earth stinging and scaring the h*ll out of everyone followed by another swarm of 200 million who will kill 1/3 of earth’s population. Before you know it, HALF (1/4 + 1/3) of the world is DEAD. (Rev 9:1-19).
You don’t want to be there for that and neither does Jesus. It is the time of His wrath on the nonbelievers. If you have accepted Jesus, by grace God’s wrath for your sins has already been executed on Jesus. God is not unjust to judge the same sin twice.

If you read it that the Holy Spirit is the restrainer, then you understand that this guy will be revealed after we’re gone. If you see the restrainer as something else, then you can come to a different conclusion.
The reason is we’re all going up together - the Holy Spirit and us, His Church. The Holy Spirit is never going to be removed while the Church is here because the Holy Spirit was given to the Church for all eternity.

Yet, either way you read those later verses, the first 3 verses state plainly that he must be revealed before that. If you insist on reading the later verses a different way, then a contradiction has been created.
I don’t think that contradiction was created by God, or by Paul, so that only leaves one possible source....
How do we explain the 4 Commandments that the enemy causes others to break (in Revelation 13)?
The four Commandments that deal specifically with Worship of the Father.
Can that be going on this very day?
Worship of the beast? Breaking of 1st Command
Worship the image?
Breaking of 2nd Command
Blaspheme His name?
Breaking of 3rd Command

4th Command in Exodus 20 holds the Father’s ‘seal’ (name,title, territory- ie- barak obama, president, united states or Pontius pilate-governor-Judea or YHWH- your EL-Creator/ Maker-Heaven Earth Sea and all that is in them)

Deuteronomy 6 says His Commands and His Words are to be on our hearts and they are to be a sign bound on our hand and on our forehead..
Satan is not interested in those Commands. Neither will his people..
And when we understand that, we understand why we have the patience of the saints in Revelation 14:12 as keeping His Commands of God AND faith..
Satan attacks the Commandments that deal with worship in Revelation 13.
He doesn’t have to wait for believers to leave to take over- he gets them to do it for him right here and now. All religions. Spiritually occurring today.

If the Holy Spirit is the restrainer, then your reading of v.3 contracts v.7. Again, if “he” is the Holy Spirit, then v.7 says “he” (the Holy Spirit who is with us and in us) will be taken out of the way beforehand WITH US.
2 Thess 2:1-3 is reassuring believers and warning them not to be deceived by recognizing that the end isn’t here yet and not to be afraid. Verse 3 explains that the first sign of the end is the falling away and the appearance of this man of sin. That is consistent with the rest of the chapter and the rest of the applicable parts of the Bible, mainly Matt 24 and Revelation.
The banks say it’s for your ‘security and protection’. Never mind that nobody asked for them.
