I didn’t read metmom’s objection as being against alcohol, but against the proposition that some biblical figure got “drunk as h3ll” (your words, I believe), so therefore its somehow OK for believers. That’s objectionable. If that’s not what you meant, you need to clarify that, because that is certainly what it sounded like to me.

If you won’t listen to the church that Christ founded, how should you be treated?
When I first came to FR I thought it was a Catholic Site because so much ‘copy and past information’ was constantly posted by Salvation....so it's rather comical any catholic would comment about somebody posting ‘they're own’ hard work rather then copying and pasting somebody's works rather than their own.
But didn't you indicate more than one? Who else? If there are many more, who?

A pagan is a non-Christian. A tax collector is, well, a tax collector.
That is how Jesus regarded those who would not listen to His Church.
