STA: Why do Protestants ignore the universal teaching of all the early Church Fathers?
Because there is NO UNIVERSAL teaching by the ECFs. They're all over the board on the issues near and dear to roman catholicism like the Eucharist, Peter, Mary, etc.

Absolutely...And the earliest church fathers were anything but Catholic...
