The Rapture will immediately change the balance of power in the world.

Wrong. By the time the rapture occurs, the persecution against Christians will be so bad, most Christians will be unemployed, unable to find work.

Who is the Bride of Christ? ... When you find the answer to that, know that God The Father will not put the Bride of Christ through God's wrath poured out upon the unbelieving world. Christians have been persecuted from the very beginning. That is persecution from man. What is coming in the Tribulation is GOD'S WRATH, and The Bride of Christ is not appointed for that but to obtain deliverance.

Things could get very bad for Christians before the Rapture, but Christians are not appointed to the hour of wrath/testing (see Rev 3, the Philadelphia Church promise). Why, you might ask? ... Simplest answer is that the time of the great testing is to give humankind a last chance to repent in the face of the great and terrible day of the Lord, for that glorifies Jesus The Christ as The Deliverer, the Savior, The Lord of our Salvation.
