“Sorry NK, but all opinions are not equal. Some are informed by understanding God’s Word and some, like you expressed, are just empty assertions”.

Finally we agree on something. The opinions of Joseph Ratzinger and Fulton Sheen on Christianity and Jesus Christ carry more weight than every blogger on FR or anywhere else on the internet.

As far as your question on where I will spend eternity? I don’t know where I’ll spend eternity anymore than you do. That’s why I live my life for Christ every day of my life. I hope I make the cut. I also didn’t abandon him in the Holy Eucharist like every fallen away Catholic that has ever lived. Have good day.

NK, I hope you believe the words of the Apostle John, who at the end of his life, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit wrote this...

"And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life."

"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life."

I John 5:11-13

The Apostle John was inspired by God to tell those who have the Son of God that they can KNOW they HAVE eternal life. Not wish for. Not make a cut. Know. Now.

John says it is possible to know you have eternal life. Since he spoke under inspiration of God, these are God's Words to us. To you NK."

Would you like to have the assurance and comfort of knowing now, that you have and will have eternal life? That when you die, today or another day, you will spend eternity in the presence of God?

I'm not talking about leaving a church or going to a different church. I'm talking about knowing you have eternal life, as John wrote.
