President Barack Obama stated in Cairo, Egypt, June 4, 2009: “When the first Muslim American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the … Holy Quran.”
The dilemma is: How can one swear to defend something upon a book that promotes the opposite?
The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states that Congress shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise of religion, yet the Quran states in Sura 4:89, “Those who reject Islam must be killed. If they turn back (from Islam), take hold of them and kill them wherever you find them.”

While I was in the Gulf I heard this on a regular basis from devout Moslems, it is not a unique view, especially over there. Many, perhaps most, devout Moslems believe their faith is not compatible with a democracy or a republican form of government.
Hence the continuing tribal push back.
Islam is more than a religion. It is a religion and a theocratic government. Regardless of the nature of Islam’s religious nature, it’s nature as a government is a self-declared and mortal enemy of any and all non-Islamic and non-theocratic forms of government which are not Islamic under Sharia Law.
Islamic culture is simply incompatible with the values, institutions and practices of Western modernity. That is why it is crumbling into chaos, barbarity and violence.
Notice how the _resident always refers to the Koran as the Holy Koran, but never does so when he mentions the bible?

THAT is why Muslims aren’t fit for office here, while folks of other faiths are.
In Jesus’ time folks thought the Messiah was coming to overthrow their Roman oppressors. He told them No, obey laws of your government as long as they don’t contradict Gods law.
Here in this country, contrary to what obammy says, the founders based things on Gods law right from the start.
That’s why a Christian can serve here; not because I say so but because things are compatible.

My gosh... Maybe this ship is starting to come about. Non-politician-for-life candidates like Trump and Carson enabling conversation that should have been happening more than a decade ago.
It’s about damned time. I’m glad the illegals are worried, and I hope our enemies are starting to realize their days of a sympathetic POTUS are coming to a close. I doubt a Trump or Cruz will be putting up with much of their crap.
