Nice move, subtle.
Though it's hard to tell the D's and the R's apart sometimes.
my remark was very general. of course I know that but on another point has the Cath Church stepped up to the plate to defend LSOTP? Here’s another point I’d like to bring up.
I’m not totally clued into to what lawyers LSOTP have but did they at any time request a Catholic Church canon lawyer to work in hand with their civil representation? that can be done you know.
If the LSOTP can’t get a canon lawyer or have not been recommeneded to them to even act in a advisement capacity then it’s a sad day on earth here as we know it.
Frankly, i’m outraged by this whole scenario-the feds are holding this organization that is well known for their mission to gov’t standards in obamacare. the whole thing stinks
The LSOTP are being represented by one of the big, conservative legal foundations. Can’t remember at the moment.
There is no reason for the Sisters to engage a canon lawyer. There are no canonical issues involved.
oohhh... had no idea wth do I know anyway?
thanks for clearing this up
If the LSOTP were in a dispute with a bishop, they would need a canon lawyer, because then canon law would be involved. But their fight is with Obama.
I thought you already cleared this up with me in your last post
well unfortunately he didn’t speak directly to anything esp about abortion and the sanctity of life. In fact I hear he didn’t say a whole lot on anything except for coming to our country, telling us we need to let in more people because they are “pilgrims”(that sure sounds a lot like Jeb-they come out of love). Telling us we need to abolish the death penalty and some other stuff like don’t be narcissists and free market capitalism is bad and gerbil warming and oh, don’t forget the elephants in the room, gay marriage and abortion
As far as I am concerned & prior to his visit here I didn’t like his background & how he was elected.
He’s alinged himself with the current regime in the US and the UN.
I think the Pope should have gone to China.
Now, THAT would have been a Papal Visit.
I can just see it now.............
