Why would the pope want to meet with her? She is not Catholic. I would not meet with her myself unless she was a Catholic.

Doesn’t pass the smell test.
Nobody sees the Pope without an invitation.
Even if you’re a little illegal girl wanting to slip the Pope a message about your parents, that has to be set up months in advance.
How exactly was the Pope’s security blindsighted to allow someone uninvited an audience to the Pope?
That’s like me saying that I think I’ll decide to crash in the Lincoln Bedroom this weekend.

this pope is more interested in projecting a image of what he think Catholicism should be then being a humble servant.

Exactly what I was thinking. I think the Vatican staff are spinning this on their own motivation.

How exactly was the Popes security blindsighted to allow someone uninvited an audience to the Pope? She was invited.....but not by the Pope.
The meeting appears to have been set up by the Papal Nuncio, who is the Pope's representative in America and it took place at his residence, the Nunciature.

It seems the pope and his entourage are at odds or have inefficient lines of communications or are a bunch of
blooming liars or all three.

It is all about enjoying his celebrityhood. Not going to risk offending the Castro thug brothers to speak up for the brutalized dissidents. Not going to speak up for the imprisoned opponent of gay marriage.
To: napscoordinator
I read that one parent on each side, both hers and her husband’s were Catholic. Chances are that she may have been baptized Catholic.

What the heck is all this about? Obviously, she didn’t sneak in uninvited. This drama over Kim Davis is starting to irk me.
Did the Nuncio also take it upon himself to invite the Pope’s gay friend?
