I don’t know a single eastern Christian whose church is in communion with Rome who wouldn’t be insulted to be called a “Roman Catholic”. They are NOT Roman Catholics, Catholics to be sure, but NOT Roman.
What I meant was that besides the western, Latin, or Roman Catholic Church, there is what is called Eastern Rite Catholics or Byzantine Rite Catholics.
