In all seriousness, does the archbishop not regard the act of the Incarnation and even more so the expiatory death of Christ as the supreme act of “condescension?” God taking on human form and taking on our sins? The mercy offered by the Church is God’s mercy, not the archbishop’s; all are in need of it.
“Mercy,” as used by the Pope and his heretical appointees, has absolutely nothing to do with mercy as understood by any Christian at any time in the past. It means LAWLESSNESS.
