One does not leave the Church over political reasons. One stays and fights and accepts the Holy Eucharist.

Her faith was not strong.

"Why do Catholic officials want to encourage illegal immigration? The answer is quite simple. Most of the illegal aliens are Catholics. Plus, the church makes lots of government money by hosting and serving the immigrants."

Some illegal immigrants may CALL themselves Catholic, but look at the Church attendance rates in Mexico -- the lack of religion down there would be on par with Europe if it weren't for widespread heretical superstition south of the border. Most Central American countries are now only about half Catholic by population, if that -- Guatemala in particular has seen a huge surge in the number of Protestants.

The bishops are in this only for the tax money they can suck in.

There’s a reason the founding fathers had a profound disdain for the Vatican.

This doesn’t quite make sense. In one paragraph it says the immigrants are mostly Muslim and then in another it says the church wants them because they are mostly Catholic. Sorry to say since I am Catholic that it sounds like this has more to do with money than religion.

The Catholic Church has been facilitating the invasion by illegal immigrants with UACPA funding that comes from taxpayers for several years now. In 2014 the funding was roughly 5 times higher than it was in 2009 when I reviewed it back then.

Mahony is described by the Los Angeles Times as “a nationally influential figure who heads the nation’s largest Roman Catholic archdiocese with 4.3 million members.” In other words, he is not a fringe player. Indeed, he is typical of Catholic Church leaders.

Mahony's retirement became effective on 3/1/2011. Article is dated.

The author didn’t check the facts.

The following statement is NOT true.

How many of us have German, Polish, Irish or Italian ancestors that immigrated to the United States?

Pot calling the kettle black?

IMPOSSIBLE SITUATION
U.S.A. needs to abolish the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 and return to the National Origins Formula which restricted immigration on the basis of existing proportions of the U.S. population.
