Sort of like "hate the sin, love the sinner" except that "sin" includes Islam itself.
Does seem though that the anti-Christian opposition wields the word "hate" as a club to indict and intimidate Christians. The burden should be placed on them to prove that criticism, however vigorous, constitutes hate.

For the record, I DO hate Islam (Psalms 15:4).

One can hate them as one hated Nazis. We wish them dead only because they are a threat. What made them a threat was their false ideas, which led them to do awful things.

I hate islam. I don’t hate muslims.

In fact, I would love to see every muslim examine islam closely. If they don’t subscribe to what it says, they should leave it. If they want to live peacefully, the perfect thing to do would be follow the Prince of Peace.

That would also help the rest of the world know with whom they’re at war.
