Quite literally, the Islamic term "Allah" translates as "god," but Allah and the Christian God are not the same deity.

Tho most religiously intolerant man to ever walk the earth is Jesus. “I am the way and the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father but through Me.”

Islam translates as submission not God.
Here is the bottom line about Islam.
EVERYTHING in the old testament points to Christ.
Islam claims to worship the same God as Christians and Jews.
If that were true... where in the old or new testaments is any mention of the coming of Mohammad mentioned?
Because the only thing that springs to mind is Jesus’s warning about false profits that will come after him who we will know by their deeds.
I think it was C. S. Lewis who said that whenever one’s faith consists of “Christianity and _____,” that whatever comes after the “and” invariably becomes of greater importance to the person. Christ is either everything to you, or eventually He becomes nothing to you.
Even if Muslims think they worship the same God, they deny Christ. There is no leeway for that in Christ’s teachings. He was either the Son of God or a madman—not a prophet or wise teacher alone. He also didn’t allow for any modifications to that by subsequent revelations. Since Islam is NOT Christianity and denies Christ, it is Anti-Christ.
I do believe the Muslims think it is the same God.
“TOLERANCE:” The inability to say Yes or No. The inability to take a stand. The true meaning of the term.

That’s so true. As a Christian, I am ever vigilant that there is no other god (God) in my life. And that includes church and sometimes, church teaching.

One God gave His Son to die for us.
The other god wants his people to give their children to die for him.
It’s just that simple.
Grant, for the sake of argument, that they kill Christians because they think they are infidels. But many sects of a single religion have killed one another over hereticalism (is that word, you know what I mean), but there’s never a doubt that all the various sects worship the same God.
