I was just listening to some teaching by Jimmy Evans about being a mature adult and he said one of the biggest impediments to it was our nature tendency to blame shift instead of taking responsibility for our sins and actions.
He was saying that while we can’t help what happens TO us, we can help what happens IN us and He gives us the strength to do what’s right and avoid sinning in our response to situations.
