By itself .. it does not.

Accepting Christ as your Savior is the “Spirit” part; Baptism is the “Water” part.

I clearly said that in my post.

I’m sorry if I didn’t make that clear. Jesus told us that to deny we knew HIM meant that HE could deny HE knew us. But, when you make a public statement by participating in Baptism, you are publically acknowledging your acceptance of Jesus as your Savior; therefore, Jesus can never deny HE knows you. Not even if you fall away, or go astray, HE still will not deny HE knows you.
