I have been blessed to be able to work from home and I have a fantastic family to care for me but I have an important conference in Texas next week(the 24th) I am hopeful that I won’t have to cancel.
How were you planning on getting to the conference? Flying? What kind of cast have they put on your ankle?
We had a man around the block bust something on his leg, and he had one of those scooters whereby he knelt on the thing with his busted up leg and still managed to walk his dog. He did this for weeks, so I imagine if you’ve got the will, there is a way.
Your comment broke me up. I have vague memories of once telling a doc in the ER "I'm supposed to be at a meeting in Texas in three days. I'll be ready to go then, right? Of course I was still in the hospital a week later. LOL
Fortunately I had the presence of mind to tell him that I had a very low pain tolerance. That worked out well.
