And if anyone thinks God is happy about that, the answer is also, no.

God may not be happy about it, but some "Christians" I have known seem to be quite satisfied with the idea.

“Nobody choses God of their own free will”

All are called, but few accept.

God chooses to save everyone, but if we don’t accept the Love, Mercy, and Grace he doesn’t force it upon us.

1 Timothy 2:4 King James Version (KJV)

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

2 Peter 3:9 King James Version (KJV)

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

So what do you do with the following? Is God a liar, two faced? Or are the scriptures you refer to a reference to the chosen? It is time to get some meat in the spiritual diet.

Rom 9:12 He calls people, but not according to their good or bad works.) She was told, “Your older son will serve your younger son.”
Rom 9:13 In the words of the Scriptures, “I loved Jacob, but I rejected Esau.”
Rom 9:14 Are we saying, then, that God was unfair? Of course not!
Rom 9:15 For God said to Moses, “I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.”
Rom 9:16 So it is God who decides to show mercy. We can neither choose it nor work for it.

And the following is really offensive to our ears. And the first thought that goes through our mind is, BUT THAT’S NOT FAIR.

So, what should our proper response be? We cannot demand mercy, but we sure can ask for it. and even the asking is from God, not from us........................

Rom 9:18 So you see, God chooses to show mercy to some, and He chooses to harden the hearts of others so they refuse to listen.
Rom 9:19 Well then, you might say, “Why does God blame people for not responding? Haven’t they simply done what He makes them do?”
Rom 9:20 No, don’t say that. Who are you, a mere human being, to argue with God? Should the thing that was created say to the One who created it, “Why have you made me like this?”
Rom 9:21 When a potter makes jars out of clay, doesn’t He have a right to use the same lump of clay to make one jar for decoration and another to throw garbage into?
Rom 9:22 In the same way, even though God has the right to show His anger and His power, He is very patient with those on whom His anger falls, who are destined for destruction.
Rom 9:23 He does this to make the riches of His glory shine even brighter on those to whom He shows mercy, who were prepared in advance for glory.
Rom 9:24 And we are among those whom He selected, both from the Jews and from the Gentiles.

So and all knowing God wouldn’t know that Pharaoh or any other person would never turn to him, so why not use him for his Glory. God gave Pharaoh into his own lusts. I feel sorry for you people that put God into a box.

Exodus 8:15 King James Version (KJV)

15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the Lord had said.

Exodus 8:32 King James Version (KJV)

32 And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.

Further reading for you to see that at some point God gives people over to their own lusts of the heart.

Job 8:4
Psalm 81:12
Acts 7:42
Romans 1:24
Romans 1:26

So and all knowing God......................

Yes the above is true and we can pretty easily accept that. But there is more than that. Divine Providence is not as easily digested ............................

Omniscient

God knows everything and His knowledge is complete. This is called His omniscience. Isaiah said that Israel had not seen everything that God had planned (Isaiah 40:28). Job said that God had all knowledge (Job 37:16). The psalmist said that God’s understanding was infinite (Psalm 147:5). The New Testament also claims God’s omniscience in 1 John 3:20 and Romans 11:33.

Omnipotent

God is able to bring to pass everything that He chooses. He has no external limitations. His only limits are those He places upon Himself. The book of Job (42:2) says that He can do all things and that nothing can restrain him. Genesis 18:14 simply asks, “Is anything too hard for the LORD?” The answer, of course, is “no.”

I think you missed something by not reading the whole Bible:

Exo_4:21 And the LORD said to Moses, “When you go back to Egypt, see that you do before Pharaoh all the miracles that I have put in your power. But I will harden his heart, so that he will not let the people go.
Exo_7:3 But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and though I multiply my signs and wonders in the land of Egypt,
Exo_14:4 And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and he will pursue them, and I will get glory over Pharaoh and all his host, and the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD.” And they did so.
Isa_63:17 O LORD, why do you make us wander from your ways and harden our heart, so that we fear you not? Return for the sake of your servants, the tribes of your heritage.

By your logic then we are all predestined and that makes us robots and not free will worshipers and you say that I missed something... sure. God Bless

Evidently, you do not like the idea that God hardens hearts and opens ears and does as He pleases. Those are not my words, they are Gods.

Either God is sovereign or he is not. His word is true or it is not.

I would encourage you to open your Bible, let God speak to you and do a lot of “chewing” on the subject. You seem to be a Christian, it is time for some spiritual meat in your diet.

I have chewed long and hard on the above. Initially it does not taste good but the more you chew, the seasoning and flavors become evident and it begins to taste good.

I could give you the predigested version of it but it wouldn’t taste good to you. You have to do your own chewing and in the end, you will thank God for the meal, not me............................

I don’t know how you think it doesn’t TASTE good whatever that means to you. I am saved and filled with the Holy Spirit of God you have nothing that taste bad to me. Now if you were talking to a nonbeliever your comments might make sense, but in this conversation it’s actually showing that you have nothing but empty words for a reply. God Bless.
