I don’t know if he admonished them, do you?

That’s an honest question not a snarky reply. Unless you have documentation that proves all he did with those men, both in public AND in private, was have a feel-good happy “you’re ok I’m ok” meeting with them, then all you have is a picture of the Pope meeting with two very confused men.

I realize he’s not the best Pope I don’t like his Laudato Si either; but quite frankly it’s unseemly for Catholics to use his radical environmentalism as an excuse to bash him for, what seems like, just being alive.

You’d rather be met with them and had them kneel publicly before him while they wept for forgiveness?

Give me a break with this constant Francis hate fest you’ve got going on. Show the documentation that proves he didn’t admonish them at all or shut up.

Or stop calling yourself Catholic. I don’t care what the anti-Catholics say anymore but Catholics I hold to a higher standard. So if your motivation is to bash him for whatever he does just let me know. I’ll know to ignore your posts too in the future, just like I ignore all the other anti-Catholics anymore.

You don't consider the following to be a snarky reply?

Here's what the homo said after he and his "husband" met with Bergoglio:

>>Grassi said the Pope has long known that he is gay, but has never condemned his sexuality or his same-sex relationship. In the video, Francis says he recalls meeting Grassi's boyfriend in Rome.<<

>>"He has never been judgmental," Grassi said. "He has never said anything negative."<<

And here's what the lesbian said after she and her fiance met with Bergoglio:

>>"But if this Pope has a long life, which all of his followers hope," Neria says, "I think things will change."<<

So why don't you practice what you preach, Fourty-seven, and shut-up?

Thank you for a very good post. We are not required to agree with ANY Pope on matters of economics or science. We ARE required to pray for him and show respect for him. Respectful disagreement is these areas is good...though we should always be praying far MORE than disagreeing.

If one does not pray MORE for the Holy Father than one criticizes him, it is sinful....and further divides the Body of Christ. That is the teaching of the Church.

;-)
