Ken Copeland: God Gave Us Private Jets Because You Can't Talk to God in Coach
Pirate Chrsitian ^ | December 30, 2015

Ken Copeland and Jesse Duplantis, on the December 29th, 2015 broadcast of the Believers Voice of Victory claimed that God gave them their private jets because you can't talk to God in commercial airliners. In other words, they claim that they have important conversations with God which would otherwise be impossible if they were flying coach.

Think we're just making that up? Think again. Watch the video below here.

Maybe he has plans to 'take it with him'.

. . . they claim that they have important conversations with God which would otherwise be impossible if they were flying coach.

This guy sounds like his flock is akin to those who were told Jesus would come back on a certain day and that they had to build a nice mansion to house him.

The day arrived and Jesus never showed up, so rather than have that mansion go to waste, the leader said Jesus told him to use it.

They believed him.

I compare these hucksters to the humble A.W. Tozer, who didn’t even own a car, and who often took the train or bus to speaking destinations, and I almost cannot believe the disparity in spiritual stature.

The worst thing about flying coach is when your booking agent invites the pilot to sit in on your sermon and he makes you all nervous and then you get thrown off the return flight.

Copeland was the Texas profit who said Cruz was anointed to be the next President.

And one of Trump's preachers is the big Dallas Baptist Jeffress.

I’ve spent a lot of time in coach and have certainly talked to God a fair amount.

given the sheer hell flying coach is these days

As one of the Divine Mercy prayers says, "From the abyss of its misery, mankind cries out."

[[Jesus rode on a donkey and Never had problems talking to God.

Better.]]

I liked the first version better- it had me confused, i like being confused, and then you had to go ahead and clear everything up again- thanks a lot! Have you no compassion?

I’m very spiritual while flying coach ... not that First Class is worth anything if the plane goes boom or splat. Then there’s riding with teenaged drivers ...

The Rev. Ike is rolling over in his grave, wondering why he never thought of this.

But in first class they ply you with alcohol, so who cares?

Seriously, my wife used to be a white knuckle flyer, it just terrified her. Then I started to fly a lot for work and the airline started throwing upgrades at me. The first time she flew domestic first class she realized she is not scared of flying, but claustrophobic. Having another seatback right in her face gave her the heebie jeebies.

Now when we are in steerage she is aware of that and does much better.

...

Probably the same type of conversation Bill Clinton had with Monica when he was ministering to her.

I’m not claustrophobic; I could be a submariner or live in an RV. I just don’t like taking off and landing. My father, uncle, and cousins were all military pilots. (One cousin still flies for USAir). Lots of funerals.

Jesus rode on a donkey and very had problems talking to God.

With a little after thought I should have say it like this:

Jesus rode a donkey and verily , verily I say unto you He never had problems talking to God.

I’ll bet.

I’m retired Army. While still in the Army in 2008 I attended 18 memorial services at our base chapel.

True, but was it a private donkey?

Physics kills. Nobody we knew died in combat or in anything war-related. All pilot-error or equipment failure. It’s not the fall: it’s the sudden stop at the end.
