The writer N.T. Wright points out a possible confusion regarding the translation “spiritual body,” which might lead some to understand “nonphysical.” He mentioned that the Greek term used to discuss the animating force of our present body is “psyche,” while that animating the Resurrection body is “pneuma.”

Jesus had a body after His resurrection.

It could do things that ours couldn’t, like walk through wall and appear and disappear, but it could also do things our can, like eat.

Scripture tells us that when He appears, we will be like Him.

All I know is that I’m looking forward to that perfect body that never grows old and can eat whatever I want.
