A churchgoer shot a fellow parishioner in a Pennsylvania church after a fight broke out over a seat in the sanctuary on Sunday, authorities say.
The argument started when a churchgoer told Robert Braxton III, 27, he was sitting in seats reserved for two other church members during Sunday service at the Keystone Fellowship Church, district attorney Kevin Steele said.

Mark my words dear Morgana - this will be international news tomorrow morning.
Hope at least it was a Vaquero or something similarly suited.

You couldn’t make things like this up.
.
This is old news actually. April 28th. Not sure when it happened. April 28 was a Thrusday, it said it happened Sunday which would have been the 24th. So why we just now hear of this?
Makes me wonder how this church kept this out of the media almost a week.
If the account presented in article is accurate, the idiot shooter should swing.
A couple of church members, including the Pastor, had managed to calm the kid down when the wanna cop re-escalated the situation by waving a gun around and yelling at the guy.
A$$holes like that give all responsible gun owners a bad name.
The victim punch the gun holder in the jaw.
Pew rage? Well it is Pennslyvania and many of those pesky Amish live there. I suspect there was more going on here...but a church of that size should have some “regular” security measures in place not some gun toting Lone Ranger sort of guy...sad all the way around.
Somebody leave the last piece of fried chicken sitting in that pew?
Preacher: “And now we will read from the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and...duck!!”

I do not think that word means what you think it means.
The church didn’t keep it out of the media. It was all over local media the day it happened and the next day.
Not sure what's up with the heil hitler salutes.
Worshipping - You’re doing it wrong.
It could be some gang violence that spread from the streets to the church.
It’s good that none of the other parishioners were hurt or killed.
That’s been going on for decades. Once went to a service at Christ for the Nations in Dallas and they did all the hand waving plus speaking in tongues here and there. You’ll be okay, just check your brain in at the door.
Local yes, but this is first I’m seeing it in national. Surprised not to find this one in the Daily Mail UK.
I have only one thing to say about churches like those ICK
Steele said Storms had no reason to bring a loaded gun to a crowded church on a Sunday morning...
...
It just doesnt make a lot of sense to me to bring a gun to church, Steele...
Actually, there's never a bad place to be prepared to defend yourself. However, it is never a good idea to be a hot-headed a**hole, as both of the people directly involved in this altercation appear to be. I mean, getting wound up over being asked to change seats? Pulling a gun and injecting yourself into a situation that others were already handling? Seems like completely unreasonable behavior by both of them.
Which leads me back to that tingling nagging suspicion that this might be some kind of a setup where only one of the parties knew the real objective. Be interesting to see what happens to the perp and his family. See if there's any "lucky" breaks thrown their way that might indicate he made a deal with someone...
