I’ve been learning what the term *giving God the sacrifice of praise* is about.
We’re commanded to give thanks in ALL situations and sometimes I just don’t feel that there’s much in a specific situation that I can thank God for.
It’s just so much easier to grumble and complain.
Thank you metmom, for taking the time to post this. Yes, giving thanks in times of trouble really is the ultimate of faith.... Faith that God , who is all wise, knows best and see’s the entire picture of our lives and what is needed, more than anything.
I’m going through a very rough time right now, in my 70’s , and learning more than ever that it is trusting in God’s wisdom, not mine, that will get me through.
