I can see all the people bailing out of the Piskies, the Pissbyterians, the Unitarians Considering Christianity, and the other liberal mainlines, but I would have thought the So. Baptists were healthier than that.

I suspect we might be way further along the cultural slope than it is generally thought by most rational people. I suppose we’ll see.

When a Church takes its focus off the “Great Commission” and members lose their burden for lost souls. . . how can there be expectations of blessings by God. Also people love to witness the Hand of God working in the lives of others. . . when that isn’t happening . . . more than likely you are looking at a dead church declining in numbers.

The so called SBC has gone secular and liberal and open borders. The changes they made at Baylor over the past few decades has gotten them into the mess the Board of Regents is now trying to cover up. To be on the board you have to be rich or pastor of mega church. Wife and I will be dropping our membership in a few weeks. And we’ve asked for a refund of our Best Club dues.
