Lust is his heart. He is just a gratification-freak, and probably has feelings for anything providing instant gratification.

That hair makes a “man-bun” look attractive. Looks like a profile of a dead rat!

I have always at least had doubts about “Contemporary Christian Music”, even in my younger days, to the point where I cringe during a so called “praise” service. Misplaced focus is my kindest assessment. Wannabe pop stars is another.
Some of my views on this may have been shaped by being raised on classical music and early days of attending the old Latin Mass.

I have always at least had doubts about “Contemporary Christian Music”,

Oh' come on now...

There are so many great praise and worship songs being produced that glorify and worship the Lord...

I listen to the "The Joy FM" all day and many a time a song will come on that I really needed to hear...

Chris Tomlin song - a very hymn like quality to it...

"A Good Good Father"

Dear Mrs. Pearson: when you find closure from this emotional trauma, and have sued Mr. Pearson into a Salvation Army bin, consider a mature ugly Odinist who loves children, sings only in the shower, and is foolish only to be entertaining, never a Gods Damned Fool like this.

P.S. : before you say we are "unequally yoked", please watch The African Queen and think about it ;)

He most likely molested his children. The wife needs to take them to the doctor to be examined. Most homosexuals are also pedophiles.

Ditto. I follow Christian Rock-—never heard of him.

But hey, if you’re born an alcoholic, isn’t the commandment the same? Deny yourself?

Pretty gay, in fact there are plenty of gay people who don’t look 1/2 that gay.

“He said he wants the Church to accept homosexuality. “I want to see my church change. I want to see our denomination change,” Pearson said. “I want to see people to be willing to have the conversation in an open way where they are willing to listen to people’s stories.””

So he still claims to be a Christian. I don’t think so. His attitude is to reconcile God to man. That is ass backward, please pardon the pun.

Just like Jesus said. Your emotions are the truth path to God.

“And that’s where my focus is. My focus is on being who I need to be for them, being healthy for them, and being healthy for myself.”

Sorry, dude, you picked the wrong lifestyle to be healthy...you’ll have HIV/AIDS soon, most likely. And you’re already mentally unhealthy.

{applause}

That’s a great statement. Never heard it before, but it makes sense.

I did not actually see the episode, but read it as a quote in Jesus Made in America: A Cultural History from the Puritans to the Passion of the Christ in the chapter discussing contemporary Christian music.

I, too, cringe at Contemporary “Christian” music. It makes me so uncomfortable that I’ve walked out of services if attending a new church and that rears its ugly head. My major in Seminary (Baptist) was Church Music, and the new, shallow, insipid, crap is borderline blasphemy. (IMHO)

I had to look up man bun. I can’t make fun of something that Toshiro Mifune sported. But, maybe it should be left to him.
