Coptic, Roman Catholic, and various Orthodox religious orders are working in Egypt. As in most Moslem-majority countries, practically all organized works of charity - schools, hospitals, care of the handicapped - are done by Christians.

And charity IS one of the FIVE pillars of Islam. It's called "zakat." The Saudi king now and after 1980 gave and gives BILLION$ of dollar$ to charities all over the world, even to Christian groups.
OF COURSE, you won't read/hear/see ANY of that in the anti-Muslim Western media.
In 1980 money, the King, who owns ALL the petroleum and natural gas, finally BOUGHT BACK all the petroleum and natural gas rights that the former king had SOLD to Texas oil men in the 1920's.
SO the King personally earns, EVERY two and a half days, one billion U.S. dollars. That was a 1983 figure. Now? I can't even imagine.
He, all his family and all the petroleum geologists KNOW that the petroleum and natural gas supply will run out in about 200 years, so it's finite. So, young Saudis, men AND women, are being educated abroad to prepare the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for eventual petroleum/natural gas depletion.
