The photograph of Grace Kelly, Hollywood superstar turned princes of Monaco, always makes me sad. Grace Kelly wouldn't have dared receive Communion in the hand. So what happened? We became too sophisticated? Too enlightened? Too holy?

Mystical bodies of Christ would never cover up pedophilia. Unless you are saying Christ would have approved of this?? The Church sins just as it’s members do. Nobody, including the Church at this point is worthy to take the high road here.
I’m horror stricken that a grammatical error will now keep me out of Heaven for eternity. Your comment is both pusillanimous and condescending. I have seen the Catholic Church fall into such disarray in the last 30 years and instead of taking the high road it has covered up and glossed over things that it should have openly apologized for (pedophile priests). In doing so it is no longer the “conduit” of the Lord but has become wicked and corrupt. The God I Love and honor is the same God I came to know through Communion and Confirmation. The Church I knew is in shambles.

What does any of that have to do with the Divine nature of the one true Church founded by Christ? Go back to your 6th grade catechism.
