I am a Christian, have a very meaningful spiritual life, am of the Catholic faith, and had a near-death experience in ICU which involved the presence of and direct dialogue with a spiritual entity that seemed to me to be the Christ.

Yes. The ancient Christian Church in 6th century considered Islam to be a Christian heresy. They saw Islamic beliefs about the End Time to be a reverse image of the Christian view. Their Jesus the False Prophet and their Mahdi to be the Anti Christ. For Islam, peace must come only when all Infidels have converted or have chosen death. That is why they call Islamic ( submission)nations and territories the House of Peace, and those that are not House of War.
